Be careful if you ever brew coffee in a hotel room as coffee pots are sometimes used to brew Methamphetamine. If you were to drink coffee from the pot that used to make meth, it could be hazardous to your health. The tell-tale sign of a ‘hazardous’ pots are reddish-orange stain or chemical odour in the hotel room. Hope it does not happen in Singapore. But who knows at least have some knowledge about it. Cheers!!

Earlier I had just finished watching “The Day After Tomorrow” on tv then came across this article..
” A report had states about the rapid and dramatic melting of the arctic icecap, and joked that the upside was perhaps that the property you bought with ocean views might soon become beachfront. Now some people might think it’s a good thing to plan for rising sea levels given that people have long been predicting that global warming will result in thermal expansion of the ocean and melting glaciers and ice sheets.” [ read more ]

Yesterday my Panasonic Microwave Oven was delivered to my house. It was selling like hotcakes @ Courts. I also don’t know why. But I was been told that it had inverter technology which would be able to ensure the food are proportionally heated or baked. So earlier I decided to try my test on the oven. The guinea pig is a ‘pizza’ from NTUC. Thinking that i am smart enough, I just wacked it in. After 7 mins.. my wife alerted me that it was blackening.. AHH!!!
The end results >>> Rocky pizza!! Really hard like a rock.. hahaha
That goes my guinea pig!! Nevertheless.. I goes for my second test. This time my smart wife told me to use slice testing instead of dumping whole piece. What an idiot of me !! haha.. Second test also gone case.. Finally I got it right after the fourth time but out of 2 pizza in the package.. guess i managed to eat two slice.. the rest are war casualties..

I made my first visit to HK Cafe @ Tanjong Katong. ( Formerly was Joo Chiat Police Station and now it had been converted into a cafe ) I drove my car into carpark besides the said cafe. I drove around and discoverd the carpark had been completely filled up by ’skiliful’ drivers. Note : no way for a housefly to pass thru’ * haha.. me overreacting* Thus I decided to look for another carpark. As I was about to leave, I discovered that my cashcard was deducted $2 for the ‘fruitless’ entry. Damn it!! I was fed-up and I returned to the signboard to look for some contact numbers to call. I managed to spoke to a guy who answered over at the other end. He just brushed me aside and told me to come back tomorrow to get refund. “Ask me to go back here again for the $2 sake??”.. kNN!! I am going to email & complained * typical SG pattern (“,)* @ HK cafe, I noticed all the waiters were of China essence, I would rather they named it as China Cafe instead. But wait, HK was part of China too mah.. so they are not wrong afterall. * knock on my cuckoo head* During my dinner time, I saw an Indian lady was ‘controlling’ the traffic flow into the carpark. I approached her and related about my bad incident. She told me that she had to call her supervisor, and I left my numbers behind for her. After a while, she called & told me to get a form from her later in order to get the refund. Suddenly she was interrupted by another female driver, I overheard she was complaining of the same issue too. The Indian lady just told her to call the main office to complain. I saw the female driver car number plate, I took it down in hope to get her as my ‘witness’ if Wilson Parking refused to refund me. After I finished my dinner, I called up the Indian Lady and she told me she had knocked off. However I would need to make another call to a number and they would settled my case. True enough, they took my particulars and informed that they would mailed me the cheque. A cheque of $2?? it was really funny but better than going back TJ to get my $ back.
The whole issue is not because of $2. I am fed up that Wilson Parking had installed IU detector which is quite pro but how come it could not regulate the traffic flow there? Why couldn’t they have a 10 mins grace like everywhere else? Now I felt like a lawyer winning a case.. kekekeke * snobbish look*
